WHEN AND WHO DEVELOPED CANNON CREEK AIRPARK? |

Most roads are paved, and are owned by the

|
Raymond R. Sessions, Ph.D., College Dean (Ret.),
Instrument and Commercial Rated Pilot and past
President of Florida Private Airports Association,
started Cannon Creek Airpark in the seventies for
family and friends. Various friends have since
developed some of the new sections with the help
of the pilots who have come to the Airpark and
with other investors. The Airpark has grown and
improved from the origional cornfield and forrest
of 50 acres in 1977 to more than 500 acres. More
than 12 subdivisions have been added to the
runway system.
“Over the years, the credit for this Airpark goes to
my sons, friends, partners, and to the pilots and
their families who trusted me and have faith in
this airpark. These pilots and their ideas and
contributions have made the airpark what it is
today.” -R. Sessions |
